When the rhythm of Samoa met the charm of Morocco, and the purity of Iceland collided with the vibrancy of Tanzania, last week at Shangyin became a joyful celebration of multicultural integration. The sixteen classes of fourth and fifth grades transformed into cultural ambassadors, taking to the stage with their respective adopted countries. Through music, dance, attire, and unique cultural expressions, they staged a spectacular showcase of artistic talent—a feast that blended global perspectives with heartfelt warmth.
国际视野：以文化为桥，链接世界多元
尚音始终秉持” East meets West”的融合教育理念，而国际音乐节正是这一理念的生动实践。本次活动中，四年级班级聚焦南美洲文化，五年级班级展示非洲风情。
斐济舞蹈活力四射，裙摆飞扬间尽显南太平洋岛国的热情；身着坦桑尼亚特色服饰的孩子们，用极具感染力的歌舞展现非洲大陆的生命力；新西兰毛利文化表演既有独特的战舞气势，又蕴含着人与自然和谐共生的智慧；摩洛哥风情秀通过绚烂的服饰与悠扬的乐曲，勾勒出北非大地的神秘与浪漫。从塞浦路斯的地中海风情到马达加斯加的热带韵律，从牙买加的雷鬼节奏到肯尼亚的草原气息，每个班级都成为了一个微型“文化窗口”，让观众在沉浸式体验中跨越地理边界，感受世界的多彩与包容。
Shangyin has always upheld the blended educational philosophy of “East meets West,” and the International winter concert as a vibrant embodiment of this vision. In this event, the fourth-grade classes focused on the cultures of South America, while the fifth-grade classes showcased the spirit of Africa.
The energetic Fijian dance, with its swirling skirts, radiated the warmth of the South Pacific islands. Children dressed in traditional Tanzanian attire captivated the audience with their infectious singing and dancing, embodying the vitality of the African continent. The Māori cultural performance from New Zealand combined the powerful intensity of the traditional Haka with a profound wisdom of harmony between humanity and nature. Through dazzling costumes and melodious music, the Moroccan performance painted a picture of the mystery and romance of North Africa.
From the Mediterranean charm of Cyprus to the tropical rhythms of Madagascar, from the reggae beats of Jamaica to the sweeping savanna spirit of Kenya, each class became a miniature “cultural window.” Together, they offered the audience an immersive journey across geographical borders, celebrating the diversity and inclusiveness of our world.
音乐节的舞台上，多元文化交融共生，更满溢着尚音独有的幸福氛围。同学们眼里的光、脸上自信绽放的笑容，正是幸福力最鲜活的模样。
舞台上，孩子们大胆展示，尽情释放，用歌舞传递对文化的理解；台下，家长们的阵阵掌声、老师的暖心喝彩，成为最有力的支撑。这份“被看见、被认可、被支持” 的温暖，让孩子们在团队协作中收获了珍贵的同窗情谊，在大胆表达中建立了满满的自信，在文化探索中体会到了成长的快乐。
On the stage of the music festival, diverse cultures blended and flourished, all while overflowing with the unique sense of joy that defines Shangyin. The sparkle in the students’ eyes and the confident smiles blooming on their faces were the truest expression of this spirit of happiness.
Onstage, the children performed boldly and expressed themselves freely, using song and dance to share their understanding of different cultures. Offstage, the warm applause from parents and the encouraging cheers from teachers formed their strongest support. This atmosphere of being seen, recognized, and supported allowed the students to deepen friendships through collaboration, nurture self-assurance through courageous expression, and discover the joy of growth through cultural exploration—all in the course of this vibrant artistic journey.
心向未来：以今日之盛，畅想旗舰新篇
音为热爱，所以相聚；心有理想，所以远方。我们期待，在未来的旗舰校区里，尚音将延续”国际化视野+幸福力培育”的核心教育理念，在保留多元融合教育特色的基础上，构建更完善的素养培育体系，让学生在幸福成长的同时，具备立足中国、面向世界的核心竞争力。在这里，每个孩子都能在跨文化交流中拓宽视野，在幸福氛围中滋养心灵，在创新实践中成就自我，成长为兼具家国情怀与国际视野的未来引领者。
We gather because of passion; we reach for the distance because of aspiration. Looking ahead, at our future campus, Shangyin will continue to uphold its core educational philosophy of “global perspective + cultivating well-being.” While preserving the distinctive features of a diverse and integrated education, we will build a more comprehensive framework for holistic development. This will enable students to grow in a joyful environment while equipping them with the core competencies to thrive in China and engage confidently with the world. Here, every child will broaden their horizons through cross-cultural exchange, nurture their spirit in an atmosphere of happiness, and realize their potential through innovative practice—growing into future leaders who are both rooted in their homeland and open to the world.
