As the late summer breeze still lingers, the campus is quietly coming to life. With the new semester approaching, a well-organized and heartwarming scene of preparation is steadily unfolding.

As early as mid-August, the Integrated Division launched its comprehensive preparations to welcome students back. The operations team moved through every building, thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing each classroom, music hall, innovation center, art room, gym, and library—leaving no corner untouched. Bright hallways, clean windowsills, and refreshed restrooms now await the sound of children’s laughter.

The campus decorations also carry a special touch. Tech-inspired elements adorn many spaces: blue balloons paired with sleek ribbons, stickers of AI robots, and simple sketches of futuristic cities have found their way onto classroom bulletin boards. In the first-grade classrooms, homeroom teachers have carefully placed name cards on each desk and prepared cartoon welcome signs for new students. Brand-new classrooms on the fourth floor are fully ready, with projectors quietly waiting to immerse Shangyin students in a fresh learning experience.

Teachers have prepared with equal dedication. During the pre-semester training week, all faculty engaged deeply in teaching workshops and specialized sessions, focusing on integrating forward-thinking educational approaches with modern technology. From hands-on AI teaching tools and meaningful cross-curricular connections to refining IPC project-based learning and implementing positive classroom management strategies—every training centered on one goal: to make learning more caring and growth more possible.

The planning for the upcoming Welcome Ceremony on August 29 is especially creative. A robot interaction zone will greet families at the entrance, featuring robots from Unitree Tech. The main hall and library will offer AI photo booths and robot dance performances, while the playground will host a fun “Robo-Dog Relay Race.” Additionally, in partnership with Wowkids and the Think Tank After-School Program team, the school will provide parents with course introductions and hands-on experiences—truly bringing engineering learning right to campus.

All of this—from spotless classrooms and imaginative AI corners, to thoughtfully prepared lesson plans and warm welcome messages on the boards—speaks to Shangyin’s deepest purpose: education begins with genuine care and respect for every child. With people at the heart and care as our guide, we will continue listening to young voices, walking alongside them as they grow, letting technology enhance learning, and allowing kindness to fill each day. May this new journey be shaped both by the possibilities of AI and by the unwavering warmth and light of Shangyin
Together, let’s begin—“Guided by Young Voices, Inspired by AI.”
For the 2025–26 school year, Shangyin is ready.
